Bridgette Scarborough

At the most recent Berkeley County School District board meeting, Teacher Forum presented student scholarships to two recent BCSD graduates for the amount of $2,500 each. The funds for both scholarships were raised by Teacher Forum through t-shirt sales, a silent auction and selling Double Good Popcorn. One scholarship was awarded to a student who was supremely dedicated to CTE programs and the other was awarded to a student leader in the Teacher Cadets.

Applications were sent out to high school counselors, teacher cadet program sponsors and CTE teachers this spring. The Teacher Forum leadership team reviewed and discussed each completed essay application.

Representing Goose Creek High, Bridgette Scarborough won the 2024 Teacher Forum Teacher Cadet Student Scholarship. While she attend GCH, Scarborough credits competitive choir and softball with teaching her the power of teamwork, dedication and discipline. Being in Beta Club and a Gator Ambassador taught her to value leadership, community service and academic excellence.

Scarborough will be attending the University of South Carolina this fall and majoring in early childhood education.
