Berkeley County School District would like to recognize teachers and staff from Stratford High, Sedgefield Middle and Boulder Bluff Elementary who contributed the most funds to Trident United Way this past school year.
By way of Trident United Way's employee campaign, teachers and staff from around the district were invited to sign up through their schools and donate funds that will subsequently go on to support the community. Employees were invited to donate via payroll deductions, or do one-time check and electronic check donations; BCSD participates in this employee campaign for Trident United Way every year.
Trident United Way aims to improve the lives of families in the tri-county region in ways related to health, financial stability and education by providing different resources to residents. The organization works with community partners to deliver collaborative solutions to achieve social change.
Teachers and staff from Stratford High, Sedgefield Middle and Boulder Bluff Elementary ended up contributing the most to the campaign this year. Each school recently held a celebratory breakfast for its participating employees.
